India Local Index
How India's local business websites measure up
Built from free website audits where the owner told us their city and business type. We publish a figure only once at least 30 websites stand behind it, and we never name a business.

How it is built
- Each website counts once, using its latest audit, so re-checking a site does not tip the figures.
- Only audits where the owner chose a city and business type are included. Quick checks of five pages are left out.
- A figure appears only when at least 30 websites stand behind it. Below that, we show the count and nothing else.
- The audit reads each website from the outside, the way Google does. It does not see rankings, visitors or Google listings.
- Want your website left out? Email us its address and we will remove it.
