Upgrowly vs SEOptimer: Audits, Client Reports and Lead Forms Compared
By Neha
Upgrowly vs SEOptimer comes down to what you need besides the audit. SEOptimer is the better choice if you also want keyword tracking, backlink research or reports in many languages. Upgrowly is the better fit if you mainly send plain-English audit reports to Indian clients, want an audit form on your own site, and prefer to pay in rupees by UPI.
We make Upgrowly, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to be fair to SEOptimer, which does several jobs Upgrowly does not, and there is a full section below on when it is the better choice.
Short answer: Both tools audit a website, turn it into a white-label report and give you an audit form for your own website that collects leads. SEOptimer adds keyword tracking, keyword research, backlink lookups and reports in 15 languages, priced in US dollars. Upgrowly has none of those, but every tool is free, the paid plans start at ₹499 a month, and nothing renews automatically.
What are Upgrowly and SEOptimer?
SEOptimer is an SEO audit and reporting tool for agencies, sold in US dollars. Upgrowly is an Indian set of free SEO tools with paid white-label client reports, sold in rupees.
SEOptimer combines website audits with a small agency toolkit. Its listing on G2 describes three plans: DIY SEO, which crawls your own site, recommends tasks and tracks rankings; White Label, which adds unlimited branded PDF reports; and White Label and Embedding, which adds an audit form you embed on your website to collect leads.
Upgrowly is built for SEO freelancers and small agencies in India first, and business owners second. The website audit and every other tool are free, and most need no sign-up. The paid part is client reports: 12 report types with your logo, plus larger audits, website monitoring and an audit form without our name on it.
So the overlap is real. Both tools help you audit a prospect's website, send them something professional and catch leads from your own site. The differences are in what sits around that core, and in how you pay.

Prices as of October 2026. SEOptimer's own pricing page showed a bot check when we tried to open it, so its plans and limits above come from its G2 pricing listing, which G2 says the vendor supplies or that it takes from public pricing material, and which it marks as last updated in November 2025. Dollar prices are converted at ₹88 to the dollar and rounded. Check SEOptimer's site before you buy, since plans change. Upgrowly's prices are from our pricing page.
How do the website audits compare?
Both give a score and a list of fixes. SEOptimer's crawl allowance is set per month; Upgrowly's is set per day, and its results are written for a business owner to read.
On SEOptimer, single-page website reviews are unlimited on every plan, and full-site crawls are counted per month: 4 a month for one website on DIY SEO, 10 on White Label and 50 on White Label and Embedding, according to the G2 listing.
Upgrowly's free website audit reads up to 25 pages of any website, with Google's own speed data, three audits a day, without an account. Paid plans raise that to 50, 100 or 200 pages an audit and 50 audits a day. Each problem comes with what it means and what to do about it, in plain words, because the person reading your report is usually a clinic owner or a shopkeeper, not an SEO.
For checking many prospects at once, the bulk website checker scores up to 20 websites in one go, and the prospect finder ranks a list of local businesses by how much their website is losing them and writes a short pitch for each. Both are free, so if outreach is how you find clients, this is where Upgrowly saves the most time.
What neither tool replaces is Google's own data. For clients whose Search Console you manage, connect it: the Search Console tool shows real searches and clicks.
How do white-label client reports compare?
SEOptimer gives you unlimited branded PDFs in 15 languages from $39 a month. Upgrowly gives you 12 report types with your branding from ₹499 a month, in English.
SEOptimer's White Label plan, per G2, generates unlimited PDF reports with your company logo, branding, text and choice of checks, in 15 languages. If you serve clients in several countries, or want a report in Spanish or German, that is a real advantage and Upgrowly cannot match it.
Upgrowly reports are built around jobs an Indian agency actually does in a month: a website audit, a one-page pitch, an SEO proposal, a competitor comparison, an executive summary, technical, content and speed reports, a local SEO report, a Google listing report, a monthly report and a client onboarding pack. Each one carries your logo, colours and contact details, as a PDF or a share link that stays open for 90 days.
The limits differ by plan. Starter (₹499) gives 10 white-label reports every 30 days, Pro (₹1,499) gives 40, and Agency (₹2,999) gives up to 10 a day with no monthly cap. A free account can make one white-label report a day, and reports with Upgrowly's name on them are always free. Our guide to white-label SEO report tools compares both with dashboard tools such as AgencyAnalytics and DashThis.
How do the embeddable audit forms compare?
Both let you put a free SEO check on your own website that turns visitors into leads. SEOptimer can send those leads to your inbox; Upgrowly keeps them in your account for now.
On SEOptimer the embeddable form comes with the top plan, White Label and Embedding at $59 a month. G2's listing says it generates leads straight from your site and sends them to your inbox or other systems.
Upgrowly's form is called Audit form and leads, and it is in every account, free ones included. You paste one line of code, or an iframe if your website builder does not allow scripts. A visitor types their website and contact details, sees a score and their three biggest problems, and becomes a lead in your account with their name, email or WhatsApp number and score. You can download every lead as a spreadsheet.
The limits are plain:
- A free account runs up to 5 checks a day through the form, with a small "Free SEO check by Upgrowly" link under it.
- Paid plans remove that link and raise the cap to 25, 75 or 200 checks a day.
- Each visitor can run up to 3 checks a day, and the form only loads on websites you list, so nobody can copy your code onto theirs.
What Upgrowly does not do yet is email you when a lead arrives. You check your account or the download. If instant alerts matter to you, that is a point for SEOptimer. Our post on using a free SEO audit as a lead magnet covers how to get the most out of either form.
When is SEOptimer the better choice?
Choose SEOptimer when you need keyword and backlink data alongside your audits, reports in other languages, or several team members on one account.
SEOptimer is the better choice in these situations:
- You track rankings for clients. Its plans include 20 to 250 tracked keywords. Upgrowly has no rank tracker for any website; paid plans only store Google's own positions from Search Console for sites you manage there.
- You need backlink lookups. SEOptimer includes 25 to 150 site backlink lookups a month and backlink monitoring on the higher plans. Upgrowly has no backlink index. Its backlink profile analyzer only reads the link export from your own Search Console.
- You do keyword research. SEOptimer includes keyword searches every month. Upgrowly's keyword tools suggest phrases without search volumes.
- Your clients do not read English. Fifteen report languages is a clear win.
- You want leads emailed to you, or passed on to other systems, the moment they arrive.
- Several people work on the account. SEOptimer allows 3 users on White Label and 6 on the top plan.
If two or more of these describe you, SEOptimer will probably serve you better than Upgrowly, and the 14-day trial lets you check before paying. For a deeper research suite, our Upgrowly vs Ahrefs vs Semrush comparison covers the bigger tools.
When is Upgrowly the better fit?
Choose Upgrowly when audits and client reports are most of the job, your clients are Indian businesses, and you want to pay little or nothing to start.
Upgrowly fits best if:
- You find clients through outreach. Free bulk checks and the prospect finder let you check 20 or 30 businesses in a trade before you message anyone.
- Your reports go to owners, not marketers. Every finding is written to be understood by a dentist in Pune or a caterer in Jaipur.
- You want to pay in rupees. UPI, card or net banking through Cashfree, with no automatic renewal, so a slow month never surprises you with a charge. A year costs the same as ten months.
- You want the audit form without paying for a top plan. It is in every account, with a small link on free accounts.
- You also serve local businesses. Free tools for Google Business Profile, review links, WhatsApp links and local listings sit beside the audit.
If you would rather look at more options than these two, our full list of SEOptimer alternatives compares Seobility, MySiteAuditor and SE Ranking as well.
How to try both before you decide
Run the same three client websites through both tools in one afternoon and compare what each report would tell your client.
- Pick three real sites: one client, one prospect and your own agency site.
- Start SEOptimer's 14-day trial and run a full crawl and a branded report for each.
- Run Upgrowly's free audit on the same three, then make one white-label report with a free account.
- Read both reports as the client would. Which one would a shop owner understand without a call?
- Put both audit forms on a test page and run one check yourself, to see what a lead looks like and where it lands.
- Write down what you used SEOptimer's extras for last month: keywords, backlinks, languages. If the answer is "nothing", you are paying for features you do not use.
Frequently asked questions
Is Upgrowly cheaper than SEOptimer?
Yes, on list price. Upgrowly's plans are ₹499, ₹1,499 and ₹2,999 a month, and every tool is free. SEOptimer's plans are $29, $39 and $59 a month, about ₹2,550 to ₹5,190 at ₹88 to the dollar, and they include keyword and backlink data that Upgrowly does not have.
Does SEOptimer have a free plan?
SEOptimer's G2 listing shows a 14-day free trial on all plans rather than a free plan. We could not open SEOptimer's own pricing page on the day we checked, so look there for what is free today before you decide.
Does Upgrowly have an embeddable audit form like SEOptimer?
Yes. Every Upgrowly account has one, under Audit form and leads. Free accounts get up to 5 checks a day with a small Upgrowly link; paid plans remove the link and allow more checks. Unlike SEOptimer, it does not email you new leads yet.
Can Upgrowly track keyword rankings like SEOptimer?
No. Upgrowly has no rank tracker. Paid plans store Google's own positions, clicks and impressions from Search Console, weekly, for websites you manage there. For tracking keywords on any website, SEOptimer or a full suite is the right tool.
Which is better for an Indian SEO freelancer?
If you mainly audit prospects and send reports to Indian business owners, Upgrowly costs less and its reports are easier for owners to read. If you also sell rankings and backlinks, or report in other languages, SEOptimer covers more of your work.
