Email List Cleaner
Email List Cleaner is a free tool that removes broken, repeated and throwaway addresses from your email list, and fixes typos like gmial.com, before you send.
- Free
- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
Sending to broken or fake addresses hurts: bounced emails make Gmail and your email tool trust you less, and your real customers start finding you in spam. Paste your list in any format and this cleaner removes duplicates, broken addresses and throwaway inboxes, flags shared inboxes like info@, and fixes typos such as gmial.com or rediffmial.com.
Your workspace
This checks spelling, format and known throwaway domains, all inside your browser. It cannot tell whether a mailbox actually exists โ that would need sending your list to an outside service, which we donโt do.

Guide
How to use it
- 1Paste your email addresses. Commas, semicolons, new lines and โName <email>โ formats all work.
- 2Choose whether to fix typos automatically, remove throwaway inboxes and remove shared inboxes like info@.
- 3Check the totals and the table to see what happened to each address, and why.
- 4Download the clean list for your email tool, and the removed list if you want to follow up or fix addresses by hand.
What the results mean
- Invalid
- The address is written wrongly โ a missing @, a double dot, no ending like .com. It cannot receive email.
- Disposable
- A throwaway inbox from sites like Mailinator or 10MinuteMail. People use them to grab an offer without sharing a real address, and they stop working within hours.
- Shared inbox
- Addresses like info@, sales@ or support@ reach a team rather than a person. Fine for business enquiries, but they rarely read marketing emails and mark them as spam more often.
- Typo
- A misspelt popular domain, like gmial.com or yaho.com. The person meant gmail.com โ the fix is usually obvious, and we suggest it.
- Bounce
- An email that comes back undelivered. A few is normal; many tell Gmail and your email tool that your list is old or bought, and your emails start landing in spam.
Common questions
Does this check whether the inbox really exists?
No. That needs a lookup of each domainโs mail servers, which would mean sending your list to an outside service. This tool works only in your browser, so it checks spelling, format and known throwaway domains โ not whether a mailbox is live.
Should I remove info@ and sales@ addresses?
For a newsletter or offers, usually yes โ shared inboxes rarely open marketing emails. For B2B enquiries or invoices, keep them. That is why removing them is optional.
Is it safe to paste my customer list here?
Yes. Nothing is uploaded โ the cleaning happens entirely on your own computer, and the list disappears when you close the page.
