HTML, CSS & JS Minifier
Upgrowly's free HTML, CSS and JS Minifier removes extra spaces, line breaks and developer notes from page code so it loads faster, and shows the bytes saved.
- Free
- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
Minifying code means removing everything the browser does not need โ extra spaces, line breaks and developer notes โ so the file is smaller and your page loads faster. On mobile data in India, every kilobyte counts, and Google measures how fast your pages load. This tool minifies HTML, CSS and JavaScript safely in your browser: it keeps anything where spacing matters, so your page looks exactly the same afterwards.
Your workspace
Minifying removes the spaces, line breaks and notes that make code easy for people to read but that browsers do not need. Smaller files load faster, especially on mobile data. Everything happens on your device โ your code is not sent anywhere.

Guide
How to use it
- 1Choose what you are pasting: a whole web page, a CSS stylesheet or a JavaScript file.
- 2Paste your code into the box.
- 3Press Minify and see how many bytes you saved.

What the results mean
- Minify
- Make code smaller without changing what it does, by removing parts only humans read.
- Byte
- The basic unit of file size. 1 KB is about 1,000 bytes. Smaller files download faster.
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- HTML is the content of a page, CSS is how it looks, and JavaScript makes it interactive.
- Compression (gzip, Brotli)
- Something your web server can also do, squeezing files while they travel. Minifying and compression work together; one does not replace the other.
Common questions
Will minifying break my website?
This tool is built to be careful: it keeps text in <pre> and <textarea> exactly, keeps spaces between words and links, and keeps line breaks in JavaScript so scripts cannot break. Still, always keep your original and check your page after replacing the code.
How much faster will my site be?
Usually a little. Minifying typically saves 10โ30% of a code file. The biggest speed wins on most small business sites come from smaller images, so compress those too.
I use WordPress. Do I need this?
Probably not for your whole site โ caching plugins such as LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket or Autoptimize can minify automatically. This tool is handy for custom code snippets, landing pages and hand-built sites.
Is my code uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your code never leaves your device.
