Chasing a client for money is awkward, so many freelancers and small businesses wait too long or write something they regret. This tool writes a polite, clear payment reminder for WhatsApp and email โ a friendly nudge, a firm follow-up or a final notice โ with the amount in rupees, the days overdue and your UPI or bank details, ready to copy or open in WhatsApp.
Your workspace
Nothing you type is sent to us. The messages are written in your browser, and you send them from your own WhatsApp or email.

Add the due date.
Getting paid without losing the client
- Send the first reminder the day after the due date. Waiting weeks makes it feel less important to them.
- Always attach or re-share the invoice โ "please send the invoice again" is the most common delay.
- Put your UPI ID or bank details in every reminder so paying takes one step.
- Keep the tone about the invoice, not the person. A calm final notice works better than an angry one.
- If a client says they will pay in parts, agree the dates in writing and send a reminder before each one.
Guide
How to use it
- 1Type the client's name, the invoice number, the amount and the due date. The days overdue are worked out for you.
- 2Add your name and how the client should pay โ your UPI ID, bank details or a payment link.
- 3Pick friendly, firm or final notice. The tool suggests one based on how late the payment is.
- 4Copy the WhatsApp message or email, or open it straight in WhatsApp or your email app, and send it.
What the results mean
- Days overdue
- How many days have passed since the due date on the invoice. Counted from today's date in India.
- Final notice
- The last reminder before you act โ for example pausing work. It gives a clear date so there is no confusion later.
- Transaction reference
- The UTR or UPI reference number of a payment. Asking for it helps you match a payment the client says they have made.
Common questions
When should I send a payment reminder?
A friendly one the day after the due date, a firm one about a week later, and a final notice after two to four weeks of silence. Sending a gentle reminder a day or two before the due date also works well with regular clients.
Should I send reminders on WhatsApp or email?
Both, if you can. WhatsApp gets read quickly; email keeps a clear written record, which helps if the payment is ever disputed. The tool writes both.
Can I charge interest on late payments?
Only if it was agreed in your contract or written on the invoice. If it was not, do not add a late fee in a reminder โ it usually starts an argument rather than getting you paid. This tool does not add one.
Is my information saved or sent anywhere?
No. Everything is written in your browser and nothing is stored or sent to us. You send the message from your own WhatsApp or email.
What if the client still does not pay?
Call them โ a phone call often settles what messages cannot. For registered micro and small businesses, the government's MSME Samadhaan portal handles delayed payment cases from buyers. For large amounts, speak to a lawyer or CA.
