UPI QR Code Generator
UPI QR Code Generator is a free tool that makes a scan-and-pay QR code and a printable counter card from your UPI ID, with a fixed amount if you want one.
- Free
- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
Turn your UPI ID into a QR code that customers scan to pay you with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or any other UPI app. Leave the amount open for a counter QR, or set a fixed amount for a bill, a class fee or a product price. You also get a counter card to print, the QR code as an image, a payment link and a short message to send with it. The money goes straight from the customer's bank to yours. Nothing passes through Upgrowly, and your UPI ID never leaves your browser.

Guide
How to use it
- 1Type your UPI ID exactly as it appears in your UPI app, and the name customers should see.
- 2Add an amount and a note if this QR code is for one bill or one fixed price. Leave them empty for a counter QR.
- 3Press Create, then scan the code with your own phone and check that your name appears.
- 4Print the counter card, or download the QR code and send it with your bill.
What the results mean
- UPI ID
- Your payment address, like name@bank. It is also called a VPA. Anyone who has it can send you money, but nobody can take money out with it.
- Open amount
- A QR code with no amount in it. The customer types how much to pay. This is what most shop counters use.
- Fixed amount
- A QR code with the amount already filled in, so the customer only has to check it and pay. Useful for a bill or a set fee.
- Payment note
- A short line, such as an order number, that travels with the payment and helps you match it later.
Common questions
Is this UPI QR code generator free, and is it safe?
Yes, it is free with no sign-up. The QR code is made inside your browser, so your UPI ID is not sent to Upgrowly or stored anywhere. A UPI ID only lets people send you money. It cannot be used to take money from your account.
Does the money come through Upgrowly?
No. The QR code only holds your UPI ID, your name and, if you chose one, the amount. The customer's UPI app sends the money directly to your bank account. We are never part of the payment and we cannot see it.
Which apps can scan this QR code?
Any UPI app, including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and bank apps. The code follows the standard UPI format that all of them read. Ask customers to scan it with the scanner inside their UPI app.
Why does the customer's app show a different name?
Before paying, the app shows the name your bank has on record for that UPI ID, which may differ from your shop name. If it shows a stranger's name, your UPI ID has a typing mistake. Fix it before you print anything.
Is this the same as a merchant QR code from my bank or a payment app?
Not quite. This is a QR code for the UPI ID you already have. A merchant account from a bank or payment app can add extras such as a sound box, settlement reports and higher limits. If a customer's app refuses a payment with a fixed amount, ask them to type your UPI ID instead.
Is there a limit on how much a customer can pay?
UPI payments are usually limited to โน1 lakh at a time, and banks and apps can set lower limits of their own. The tool warns you if you type a higher amount. For large payments, check the limit with your bank first.
