Keyword Grouper
Keyword Grouper is a free tool that sorts a long keyword list into groups that share a topic, with a page name for each. Each group is roughly one web page.

- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
A list of 200 keywords is not a plan. This grouper puts keywords that share a meaningful word or two-word phrase together โ all the โroot canalโ searches in one place, all the โteeth whiteningโ ones in another โ and suggests a page name for each group. Every group is roughly one page for your website.

Guide
How to use it
- 1Paste your keywords, one per line. Ideally clean them first with the Keyword List Cleaner.
- 2We ignore small words like โinโ, โforโ and โbestโ, and treat โclinicโ and โclinicsโ as the same word.
- 3Read each group: its suggested page name is the shortest keyword in it. Rename it to sound natural.
- 4Write one page per group, using the groupโs keywords in the heading, the text and the questions you answer.
- 5Download the groups as a CSV to plan the pages in a spreadsheet.
What the results mean
- Group
- Keywords that share a topic. People searching any of them want the same thing, so one good page can rank for all of them.
- Suggested page name
- A starting point for the pageโs title. It is the shortest keyword in the group, which is usually the main search. Edit it so it reads well.
- Common word
- A word in more than half your list, usually your service itself, like โdentistโ. Grouping by it would put everything in one pile, so we set it aside and group by the rest.
- Other
- Keywords that share nothing with the rest. They may need a page of their own, may fit on an existing page, or may not be worth chasing.
Common questions
Why not write a separate page for every keyword?
Pages that are almost the same compete with each other and look thin to Google. One strong page for โroot canal costโ beats five weak pages for its small variations.
How does the grouping work? Is it AI?
No AI. We cut words to a rough root, ignore small words, then repeatedly pick the word or two-word phrase shared by the most keywords. It is simple and predictable, so check the groups with your own common sense.
How many keywords should a group have?
Anything from two to twenty is normal. A very large group may be two topics โ for example โpriceโ and โnear meโ searches โ and could be split into two pages.
