Common questions
Will removing these words stop my email going to spam?
Usually not on its own. Filters weigh your domain's SPF and DMARC records, your sending reputation and whether people open and reply. Word lists were how filters worked fifteen years ago.
So why check for them at all?
Because copy stuffed with 'free', 'act now' and 'limited time' reads like a mass mailing, and people delete mass mailings. This is a check on your writing, not on deliverability.
