Regional Keyword Finder
Regional Keyword Finder is a free tool that shows how customers type what you sell in Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil or Telugu: spellings, script, phrases.
- Free
- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
A customer in Pune, Surat, Kolkata, Chennai or Hyderabad often searches in their own language, typed in English letters or in its own script. Choose Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil or Telugu, enter what you sell, and see how people write it: the common spellings, the script form, and everyday phrases for nearby, price and where to buy. Built from a short, carefully chosen word list.

Guide
How to use it
- 1Choose the language your customers speak.
- 2Type what you sell in a few words, in English or in that language written in English letters.
- 3Add your city if you want phrases that include it, then press Generate.
- 4Have someone who speaks the language read the list before you use it.
What the results mean
- Typed in English letters
- Most people type their own language on an English keyboard, spelling by sound. Tamil typed this way is often called Tanglish. One word ends up with several spellings.
- Own script
- The language written in its own letters. Voice search and regional keyboards produce searches in this form.
- Word list
- The tool knows a small set of common business words in each language. Words outside it are kept exactly as you typed them, so the tool never guesses.
Common questions
Why does the tool not know my word?
The word list is short on purpose: a word is included only when we are confident of it in all five languages. Brand names, technical words and less common items are kept as you typed them, and the script section is left out for that phrase.
Are the translations checked by native speakers?
Not yet for every language. Treat the list as a starting point and ask a customer or staff member who speaks the language to read it. Spoken usage differs by district, and a word that is right in one city can sound odd in another.
Does this show how many people search each phrase?
No. No free source gives search numbers for regional phrases. The tool shows how a phrase is written. To see what people really typed to find you, check the search terms in Google Search Console.
Where should I use these phrases?
In your Google Business Profile description and posts, in a questions-and-answers section on your website, and as keywords in Google Ads. Write them into natural sentences. Listing every spelling on one page does not help.
