Google Analytics Visitor Report
Upgrowly's free Google Analytics Visitor Report shows your real website visitors in plain words: how many came, how they found you and what they read.

Google Analytics counts everyone who visits your website, but its own screens are built for specialists. This tool connects to your Analytics with read-only permission and turns it into one page a business owner can read: how many people came, whether that is up or down on last month, how they found you, which pages they read, and whether they were on a phone. The numbers are your own, straight from Google โ nothing is estimated.

Read-only, and only your own websites
We ask Google for read-only permission. We can see the visitor numbers for websites already in your Google Analytics โ we cannot change anything in your account, and we never see individual people, only totals.
We keep an encrypted connection so you do not have to reconnect every time. You can remove it any time with the Disconnect button, or from your Google account's security page.

Guide
How to use it
- 1Sign in to Upgrowly (free), then press Connect Google Analytics and allow read-only access.
- 2Pick your website and the period โ 28 or 90 days.
- 3Press Show report. Start with the four numbers at the top and the arrows beside them: up or down against the period before.
- 4Read "How people found you" to see which of your efforts actually bring visitors, then download the CSV if you want to share it.
What the results mean
- Visitors (active users)
- Different people who came to your website. Google counts a person once per device, so someone on their phone and their laptop counts twice.
- Visits (sessions)
- Each time someone comes to your website. One person returning three times is one visitor and three visits.
- Stayed and looked around (engagement rate)
- The share of visits where the person stayed more than 10 seconds, opened a second page or did something useful. A low number means people arrive and leave straight away.
- Organic Search
- Visits from the free results on Google and other search engines โ the result of SEO work. Paid Search is the same thing from ads.
- Direct
- People who typed your address, used a bookmark, or tapped a link in WhatsApp or another app that does not tell Google where it came from.
Common questions
Can Upgrowly change anything in my Google Analytics?
No. We ask Google only for read-only permission (analytics.readonly). We can read the visitor totals for your websites; we cannot edit settings, add users or delete anything.
Do you see who my visitors are?
No. Google Analytics only gives totals โ how many people, from which city, on which kind of device. Nobody's name, phone number or email is in it, and we could not see them even if we wanted to.
What do you store?
An encrypted connection key from Google, so you do not have to reconnect every visit, and a copy of each report for up to 12 hours so opening it again is instant. Press Disconnect and both are deleted straight away. We never share or sell this data.
Why does it say I have no websites?
Google Analytics has to be set up on a website before it counts anything. Create a property at analytics.google.com with the same Google account, add its Measurement ID to your website, then press Refresh list.
How is this different from the Search Console tool?
Search Console shows what happens on Google before the click: which searches you appear for and where you rank. Analytics shows what happens after: how many people arrive from every source, not just Google, and what they do on your website. Most businesses want both.
Why are these numbers different from Search Console's clicks?
They count different things. Search Console counts clicks on Google's results; Analytics counts visits that loaded its code on your website. People who block tracking, or leave before the page loads, show up in one and not the other. A gap of 10 to 30 percent is normal.
