What the results mean
- Google post
- A short update or offer you publish on your Google Business Profile. It shows on your listing in Google Search and Maps, so people see your festival offer before they call.
- The first 80 characters
- Google shows only the start of a post before a More link. Put the festival, your name and the offer right at the start so people see them without tapping.
- Special hours
- A setting on your Google Business Profile for one-off days such as Diwali. Set it and Google shows the right hours, so no one turns up to a closed shutter.
- WhatsApp broadcast
- One message sent to many customers at once, each getting it as a private chat. Only people who have saved your number receive it, so ask customers to save it.
Common questions
How early should I start posting for a festival?
About ten days before is a good start for a first post, with a reminder three days before and wishes on the day. People plan festival shopping early, especially for Diwali and Dhanteras.
Is anything I type sent anywhere?
No. The posts are built from ready-made templates inside your browser. Nothing you type is saved or sent to us or anyone else.
Can I change the wording?
Yes, please do. The drafts are a starting point — add the names of your products, your area or a line in your own voice before posting. Posts that sound like you do better.
How do I add the posting plan to my calendar?
Press the download button and open the .ics file. Your phone, Google Calendar or Outlook will add each step as an all-day reminder on the right date.
