NAP Consistency Checker
The NAP Consistency Checker is a free tool that compares your name, address and phone across Google, Justdial and IndiaMART and shows exactly what to fix.
- Free
- No sign-up
- Runs in your browser
NAP stands for Name, Address and Phone. Google compares these across your website, Google Business Profile, Justdial, IndiaMART, Facebook and other listings โ when they disagree, it trusts your business less and customers call old numbers. Paste each version here and see which listings differ, how, and the one version to use everywhere. It all runs in your browser.
Your workspace
Paste your business name, address and phone exactly as each website shows them โ one row per listing. We compare them here in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
Paste them all at once (optional)
Your listings
Fill in the details above, then press the button to see your result.
Why this matters
- Google checks your details on other websites to decide whether your Google listing can be trusted. When they agree, you are more likely to show up on the map.
- Customers copy numbers from Justdial, Facebook and old listings. One wrong digit is a lost call.
- Pick one way to write your name, address and phone, and use it everywhere โ even the short forms.
Guide
How to use it
- 1Open each place your business is listed and copy the name, address and phone exactly as shown.
- 2Paste them into the rows (one listing per row), or paste everything into the box at the top and let us split it.
- 3Press Check. See your score, the version we recommend, and a table showing which listings differ and how.
- 4Work through the fix list, updating each listing, then check again. Download the CSV to keep track.
What the results mean
- NAP
- Your business Name, Address and Phone number. Local SEO experts call it NAP.
- Citation
- Any website that lists your business name, address and phone โ Justdial, IndiaMART, Sulekha, Facebook and so on.
- Consistency
- Every listing showing the same details. Short forms like โRdโ and โRoadโ are fine; a different phone digit or PIN code is not.
- STD code
- The area code before a landline number, like 022 for Mumbai. Without it, a mobile cannot dial your landline.
Common questions
Do you look up my listings automatically?
No. We only compare what you paste. Looking up Google listings automatically would break Google's rules, so you copy each version yourself โ it takes a few minutes.
Does โRdโ versus โRoadโ matter?
Very little โ Google understands common short forms. We show it as formatting only. Still, using exactly one version everywhere is the safest habit.
Which version should I pick?
Use the one on your Google Business Profile and your shop's legal documents, written the same way everywhere. We suggest the most common, most complete version, and you can correct it.
Is my data stored?
No. Everything stays in your browser and is gone when you close the page, unless you download the CSV.
