Local Business Schema Generator

Local Business Schema Generator is a free tool that makes the code telling Google your business type, address, map location, opening hours and social pages.

  • Free
  • No sign-up
  • Runs in your browser

Local business schema is a small block of hidden code on your website that spells out, in a format Google reads directly, what your business is, where it is and when it is open. Your Google Business Profile tells Google the same things; putting them on your own website too, in exactly the same words, helps Google trust that both belong to the same real business. It also lets AI assistants answer questions like โ€œis Sharma Dental open on Saturday?โ€ correctly.

Your workspace

This builds the hidden code that tells Google your business is real: what kind of business it is, where it is, when it is open and how to call you. Fill in what you have โ€” only the name is required, but more details make it more useful.

About your business
Address

Write it exactly as it appears on your Google Business Profile, so Google can match the two.

Map location (optional)

In Google Maps, right-click your shopโ€™s pin and click the numbers at the top to copy them. You can paste both numbers into the first box.

Opening hours

Tick the days you open and set the times. For a shop open past midnight, set the closing time on the same day, for example 18:00 to 01:00.

Your other pages (optional)

One link per line: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Justdial, Practo, Zomato and so on. This helps Google connect them all to you.

Fill in the details above first.

Guide

How to use it

  1. 1Choose the type that best describes your business โ€” a dental clinic, a kirana store, a salon and so on.
  2. 2Fill in your name, phone and address exactly as they appear on your Google Business Profile.
  3. 3Tick the days you are open and set the times for each day. Use the button to copy Mondayโ€™s times if they are the same all week.
  4. 4Optionally add your map location, price range and links to your Facebook, Instagram, Justdial or Practo pages.
  5. 5Fix anything the checker flags, then copy the code and paste it into your home page and contact page.

What the results mean

LocalBusiness
The schema.org label for a business with a physical place customers visit or an area it serves. More specific types, like Dentist or Bakery, are versions of it.
NAP
Name, Address, Phone. Google compares these across your website, your Business Profile and directories. They should match everywhere, letter for letter.
Opening hours specification
The part of the code that lists which days you open and at what times. Days with the same hours are grouped together.
sameAs
A list of your other official pages on the internet. It tells Google โ€œthese profiles are all the same businessโ€.
Geo coordinates
Your exact position on the map as two numbers, latitude and longitude. Useful when your address is hard to find.

Common questions

I already have a Google Business Profile. Do I still need this?

It is not required, but it helps. Your Business Profile lives on Google; this code lives on your own website. When both say the same thing, Google is more confident about your details, and other search engines and AI assistants that never see your Business Profile can still read them.

Will this make me rank first on Google Maps?

No code can promise that. Map rankings depend mostly on how close the customer is, your reviews and how complete your Business Profile is. This code removes confusion about who you are, which supports everything else.

How is this different from the Schema Generator tool?

The Schema Generator is a quick version with one set of hours for the whole week. This one lets you set different hours for each day, add your map location, price range and social pages, and checks your details for common mistakes.

I have two branches. What should I do?

Make one code block per branch, each with its own address, phone and hours, and paste each on that branchโ€™s own page on your website.

How do I check it worked?

Open Googleโ€™s free Rich Results Test, enter your pageโ€™s address and run it. It should find a LocalBusiness (or your chosen type) with no errors. You can also use our Schema Validator.
