Hashtag Finder

Hashtag Finder is a free tool that suggests hashtags for your type of business and city, including local, niche and Hinglish tags, with a ready mix of five.

  • Free
  • No sign-up
  • Runs in your browser

The right hashtags help people nearby find your posts. Choose your type of business and your city, and get hashtags in four groups โ€” about what you sell, local to your city, Hindi and Hinglish, and the big busy ones โ€” with a ready mix of five to copy. The tags come from a hand-picked list built into Upgrowly; nothing is fetched from Instagram.

What the results mean

Niche hashtag
A tag about exactly what you sell, like #egglesscake. Fewer posts use it, so yours stays visible longer.
Local hashtag
A tag with your city or area in it, like #PuneFoodies. It reaches people who can actually visit you.

Common questions

How many hashtags should I use?

Three to five that really match the post. Instagram has moved away from long blocks of tags and now limits how many it will use.

Where do these hashtags come from?

From a list we put together by hand for Indian small businesses. We don't scrape Instagram or track live numbers, so check a tag on Instagram before relying on it.

Should hashtags go in the caption or a comment?

In the caption, at the end. It is simpler than posting them as a first comment, and Instagram treats both the same way.
